By downloading, installing, or using AES Crypt for iOS (the “App”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the App.
This App is developed and provided by Island Time Innovations, LLC.
The App is provided for encrypting and decrypting files locally on your device. You are solely responsible for how you use it and for maintaining sensible backups of your data. Encryption and decryption are performed entirely on your device, and Island Time Innovations, LLC has no access to your files, keys, or passwords.
You are fully responsible for safeguarding your encryption passwords, keys, and any files processed by the App. Lost or forgotten passwords cannot be recovered. You also acknowledge that file corruption or data loss may occur due to device failure, software bugs, or misuse. The developer is not liable for any loss, damage, or unrecoverable data resulting from your use of the App.
Before encrypting or deleting files, you agree to maintain independent, sensible backups of important data. The App does not automatically back up, sync, or store your files remotely.
The duration and price of each subscription are displayed in the App under Settings → “AES Crypt (Paid Full Version)” at the time of purchase. Payment will be charged to your Apple ID account upon confirmation of purchase. Subscriptions automatically renew unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period. You can manage or cancel your subscription at any time in your Apple ID account settings after purchase.
All in-app purchases are processed solely through Apple’s App Store. No billing or payment information is collected or stored by Island Time Innovations, LLC. Any purchase issues, including billing inquiries and refund requests, are handled by Apple.
Transactions and subscriptions are processed by Apple. Refunds and cancellations are subject to Apple’s policies and can be requested via your Apple ID account or Apple Support. For assistance, visit https://support.apple.com/billing.
If you obtained the App via the Apple App Store, your use of the App is also governed by Apple’s Standard End User License Agreement (EULA), available at: https://www.apple.com/legal/internet-services/itunes/dev/stdeula/ .
Island Time Innovations, LLC is committed to making AES Crypt for iOS and its accompanying website accessible and usable by all individuals. The App operates locally on your device and does not provide online services or public accommodations. The accompanying website is informational in nature and is provided “as is.” While we strive for reasonable accessibility and usability, we do not guarantee that the website or App will be fully compliant with all accessibility standards or legal requirements in every jurisdiction. By using the website or App, you agree that Island Time Innovations, LLC shall not be liable for any claims or damages arising from accessibility limitations or compliance issues. The App is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. Island Time Innovations, LLC does not warrant that the App will operate uninterrupted or error-free.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Island Time Innovations, LLC shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data, profits, or other intangible losses arising from or relating to your use of the App.
We may update these Terms from time to time. The revised version will be posted on this page with a new effective date. Continued use of the App after updates constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
